FFN: Stream-bed Scarf
Well it’s certainly been a while since I managed to have a post about a finished object. Attempting to adjust to the new schedule have left me a bit lacking in the time department. I have managed a bit of knitting every day, which is why I finally have a project to show you! (Let the chorus of jubilation begin)
I cast this on August 23 in anticipation of attending the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy marathon and managed to knock out about 1/3 of the total project. (Woohoo) The remainder was worked in small batches whenever I had a few free moments and could tolerate the thought of knitting a scarf (which wasn’t that often with the weather being so hot)but persistence paid off and lo and behold the project was finished relatively quickly (size 8 needles probably didn’t hurt)
Specs: Yarn: Knit Picks Felici Sport in Stream bed
Needle Size: 8
Pattern: Simple 2X2 ribbing
It was difficult to get a good photo of the scarf, it’s actually pretty long ( which is just how I like my scarves) it is way taller than me (which I know isn’t that hard, but even holding it up above my head it drags a bit on the ground.
The merino content from the yarn makes it oh-so-soft and the colors are a nice muted set that makes it feel fun but not overtly out-of-place in a more professional setting.
Q – Beautiful colors. Love the finish product.
Hi! I nominated you for the One Lovely Blog Award in my latest post 🙂
