Get to Know the Introverted Knitter
As self-proclaimed introvert and fiber artist, the Introverted Knitter lives in the Midwest with her husband and their three rescued cats. Bringing her sense of humor to the blog, the Introverted Knitter can be found discussing such topics as how to deal with cats who love to lay on one’s knitting and steal fiber, to the epic amount of patience it takes to knit a pair of socks for a giant of a husband. The blog features the unofficial mascot, a stuffed sheep named Horace , and all of his random adventures (His post can be found under the Adventures with Horace Tab) . In addition there can be infrequent appearances from her alter ego known as Ira McKnitty-pants. Along the way the Introverted Knitter shares her own trials and triumphs over a variety of projects and gives her take on a world that seems to favor the extroverted personality.

I love your blog! One wordpress.com question for you: what email plugin do you use to only send part of your post?
There is an option via your dashboard. I will have to come back to this later today.
I looked it up, it’s under Settings, Reading and will say something to the effect of “For each article in a feed, show either Full Text or Summary”
I believe that is what you are talking about?
Yes, thank you so much!
I enjoy reading your blog and I wanted to let you know that I’ve nominated you for a WordPress Family Award!
Hi! I’ve nominated you for a Super Sweet Blogging Award. Read about it in my post: http://thecreativecortex.wordpress.com/2013/07/20/super-sweet-blogging-award/ I think your blog is awesome and that other people should know that I do! 🙂
Hi, Thanks so much for liking my blog post! Wishing you all the best with your writing!!
Cheers 😀
From one introvert to another, I’ve nominated you for the Reader Appreciation Award! http://fibercrush.wordpress.com/2012/10/01/reader-appreciation-award/ I really enjoy reading your blog.
Thank you for following my blog! I started to read your blog, in really enjoy reading your post. I liked the things you knitted and the color choices. Also you have a way with words! I love it.
Thanks, glad you like it. I look forward to seeing more of your posts.
Hi, and thanks for following my blog! I’ll be interested to see how your spinning comes along. I just recently dusted the cobwebs off my spinning wheel and am looking forward to doing some real spinning rather than just drooling over books on spinning!
Hello and thank you for following my blog! I am looking forward to your posts as I really need to pluck up the courage to knit again (the last time being when I knitted a baby cardigan at school when I was about 11 – not a good experience!) I love to crochet but knitting seems so very intimidating. Thanks again!
Thank you. I hope you start again, I would love to see the pictures of the projects.
I love the premise of your blog. As a fellow introvert, I think it’s fun how the image of knitting suits the introvert’s approach to quiet observation and living with sometimes silent purpose.
I know it’s taken me severl days to get here (and for that I apologize), but I also wanted to thank you for the comment you left on my Freshly Pressed post last week, for following my blog, and for liking my post today. Thank you so much for stopping by and for coming back. It’s been great having you.
I look forward to exploring your blog further.
Hugs,
Kathy
Thank you, I am so glad you had a chance to come view my blog. I do find knitting works well with the introverted personality, though knitting in public does seem to draw people into conversation! I hope you enjoy what you find here.
Thanks for subscribing to my blog! Yours is interesting too. My mother was an avid knitter and I have recently tried learning, but casting on is hard…. I’ll keep trying though. You have gotten me interested again. Good luck….
Thanks for visiting and commenting. I remember the challenges I had/have with casting on. It seemed to take forever to figure it out, and now I am constantly learning new methods, thank goodness for the power of youtube. Best of luck, I look forward to hearing about it in the future.
